Yes β as a category filter at the DNS level, alongside ads and trackers. It is a filter, not parental controls: there are no screen-time limits, no activity reports, and whoever is holding the device can switch the VPN off in Settings. That makes it genuinely useful for younger kids and honest friction for older ones.
No. It hides your traffic from the network you are on and your IP from the sites you visit. If you are signed into Google, Google still knows it is you. Anyone promising anonymity is describing a different product than the one they are selling.
Usually, not always. Streaming services actively block VPN addresses and it is a moving target. We will not promise you a specific service or a specific title.
